How to Fix a Zipper on Jeans
Luckily, there are a few easy steps you can take to fix a Zipper on jeans. These include using pliers and a piece of thread, and using a seam ripper. If you have a zipper repair kit, you can easily find the right part for the zipper.
Repairing a broken zipper
If you’ve broken a zipper on a pair of jeans, you’re not alone. Fortunately, there are many methods for. One of the most popular methods involves the use of a fork. The key is to make sure the fork’s teeth match closely with the rest of the jeans’ threads. This way, the repair will be less visible, and it will last longer.
First, unpick the zipper’s teeth. The outside teeth, also known as the tape, can easily pull the zipper out of the garment or bag. The bottom stopper will usually have larger teeth that prevent the pull from falling off the bottom of the tape. If you can’t find the zipper’s stoppers, you can unstitch the zipper by looping a rubber band around the button at the bottom of the zipper.
Using pliers

I put on these jeans and the zipper broke. In the above picture, the zipper slider came off the zipper track. So, I had to do a quick to get the slider back on track. It seems that it should just slide back on to the tape part, but trust me, it’s an impossible task. Plus, I know that to replace the zipper entirely would take awhile. Replacing an entire zipper means that you have to rip the zipper out of the garment. Then, its a detailed process to put in a new one fix a zipper.
